[/blockquote]Full Name: Akeno
Nick-Name(s): Aki
Gender: Male
Age: 3 years
Rank Desired: Beta? Anything would work for him though.
Pack: Versia
Canon/Original/Wanted Ad: Original
[/blockquote]Eye Color: A dull brown.
Pelt: Because of his past, his pelt is not even. He always appears sickly in appearance, with his fur sticking up in random areas. It is of a shorter variety, which can cause him some difficulty in the winter months. The color is a light caramel brown, with creams, greys, and a bit of black mixed in to create an ashen coat.
Build: He is quite tall, but he appears almost uneven in his build. He can be described as a yearling, as he seems as though he is in his awkward stage. Despite being a skilled fighter, he has non-existent muscles and is quite skinny.
Weight: He is a light weight, which matches his lanky appearance.
Permanent Markings: He has many scars crisscrossing his body, most of which are visible and have ruined his pelt. He has also lost his left eye.
Other: He walks with a slight limp.
[/blockquote]Likes: Akeno loves a good storm, and loves to be out when one is raging. He enjoys the seasons of spring and summer. At times he loves to lounge around in the sun, so it can be said that so long as it is not cold, he will be happy with the weather. He enjoys seeing flowers blooming. Aki also enjoys a good fight whenever one presents itself, though he tends to dislike himself for it.
Dislikes: He greatly dislikes rivers and lakes, and will go out of his way to avoid entering a body of water if it can be avoided. Akeno has no tolerance for fools, and will lash out at any who mess with him. He also cannot stand the cold, because of his light pelt. Because of this, he detests snow with a fiery passion. He hates killing, but he does so regardless if it is needed.
Strengths: Despite having a limp in his gait, he is a very agile wolf. Add that to his knowledge of battle, and he can be a deadly opponent when the need presents itself. He is always ready to fight, though he is not exactly eager. He has speed to back him up, and can run for long periods of time with his endurance.
Weaknesses: He is missing an eye, and is blind on his left side. He does not have much power in the strength category, and can hardly ever out power a wolf through brute force. While he will fight to protect himself and his pack, his hesitance to kill can be seen as a weakness, regardless of the fact that he will kill whoever's in his way. An emotional turmoil rages inside him at all times because of his actions, leading him to always doubt himself.
Fears: Bodies of water and himself.
Overall Personality: It is true that Akeno distrusts anyone he does not know, but the one he feels he can never trust is himself. He will do anything he can for those he considers his pack, but he himself feels that he is not worth saving. His past has really messed with his head, and he is always wondering if he could have ever changed something, to have saved any of the lives he has taken. His answer, that he would have still saved himself, crushes him on the inside.
Despite being in turmoil over his actions though, on the outside, he presents a neat facade. He appears strong and resilient, someone that can be depended on and trusted, He never speaks of his past, or of his emotions, tucking them tightly away into his own subconscious. He is a fighter, and has learned that he can never give up. Akeno will fight for his life at all costs, but has no doubt that he will not hesitate to trade in his own to save the life of another should the time ever come.
[/blockquote]Dam: Raine
Sire: Kiefer
Sibling(s): None. All were killed at birth.
Other: His parents were killed after he was born, and he was raised by his pack's alpha, Tyren. After escaping, he travled with a wolf known only as Crow.
History: Akeno's pack was a horrid one. Housing mainly males, the females were strictly the alpha's. When the alpha's favored female bore a litter from one of the underlings, he killed them both. He had intended to kill the entire litter as well, but at the last moment, decided to take the first-born son in as his own. Tyren made sure to make Akeno's life a living hell starting when he was just a weaned pup. He made Aki the prey of all who resided in the pack, and would punish any who dared leave the wolf pup alone. Aki's torture included being dragged to the nearby river, in which he would be dunked in, nearly drowning in the process. He earned many injuries from the beatings of the pack, which are now splayed across his adult pelt.
When he turned a year, training begun. He was taught to fight, or he would die. Many challenged him, but Aki's survival instincts took over, the will to live guiding him through the first fights until he learned to use his speed. Noticing this, Tyren had him attacked by some of his wolves, intending for one of Aki's legs to be broken. Luckily, the injury was not so bad, but a limp in his gait bears the brunt of his encounter.
Akeno turned into the pack's assassin. Whenever he was told to kill, he would do it, or he would be killed. Though he was starting to lose his sanity from the blood on his paws, he continued, not wanting to die. Not until one day, when he was told to kill a wolf pup that had wandered into the pack's lands. He refused, which in turn lost him his left eye. Tyren stated it was a warning, and that he would not be so lenient the next time. As the wolf made to kill the pup, Akeno, in a fit of rage, attacked the alpha. Because Tyren had not been expecting it, it was an assassination rather than a fight. Anger guided him and Akeno slaughtered the remaining wolves.
Crow turned out to be the pup's father, an old black wolf that took Aki under his wing. The wolf taught him how to fight properly, and how to live with his newfound freedom. Though Crow never did heal the scars of Aki's heart, the two grew close and Aki learned a lot from the older wolf. When Crow passed away a year and a half later, Akeno went his own way, walking the lands as a loner until he came upon Versia.

How Did You Find WoD?: Furry-Paws
Roleplay Example: The ashen clad male moved silently across the weaving grass. A gentle breeze stirred his wild fur, and he lifted his face to great the warm air. His spirits were down, as they always seemed to be these days. The loss of Crow still burned deep within him, constricting his heart, threatening to block off his airways until he just drifted away on the very breeze that was currently ruffling his disarrayed pelt. Even the blooming of the flowers didn't cheer him, with their bright splash of colors sprayed among the fields. Their presence should have lifted him, should have provided some form of joy to his broken soul, but they did not. The once welcoming colors that had attacked his senses did nothing for him today.
Akeno moved on, dragging his shell of a body onward. He could still picture Crow, lying under the shade of a tree, breathing his final breaths. He had been asked to lay with the old black wolf, and he had done just so, lying his head of the other wolf's body. Aki had never once whimpered before in his life, but he did so then, lightly.
"Do not cry for me, young one," Crow had said.
He had then started to cough violently, wheezing with great effort. Despite his shortage of breath, Crow had parted with Aki delivering a final statement.
"Find a pack, Aki. Find a pack, and find happiness."
While that was shocking enough for the young wolf, Crow had left this world saying something that had frozen the blood in Akeno's veins.
I love you.
Words Akeno had never heard spoken to him before. He knew what they meant, as Crow had often told them to his own son. He just couldn't believe Crow had uttered those words to him, of all wolves. He did not know what love was, and he did not know if he even had the right to have such a beautiful emotion. What he did know, however, was that no matter what his feelings were for Crow, was that he admired the older wolf. He probably thought of him as a father figure, even. But was that love?
Aki could not know for certain, and probably never would. He just knew that he would follow his mentor's advice, and try to seek out a pack. The idea scared him something fierce, but he blindly trusted Crow. He would try to find what his mentor had spoken of, even if it didn't bring him happiness. Perhaps it would still change his life in some crazy way, if only he tried.
